Mobile Robotics
ATK develops novel mobile robotic systems for land-applications, utilizing the latest tools and innovative design to deliver compact and highly integrated electro-mechanical solutions with software-driven remote operation capability.
Locomotion Platforms
ATK is experienced in the analysis, design, testing and selection of various locomotion methods for terrestrial locomotion, whether they be wheeled, tracked, legged or hybrid. We design our platforms for modular assembly. Chassis articulation and compliance are also used in order to yield industry-leading concepts and designs for never-before considered/attempted locomotion methods or approaches.
Payloads
ATK uses a modular electro-software development approach to allow the use of varied payloads on varied platforms. Payloads developed to date include Pan-Tilt-Zoom multi-spectral camera-heads, dumpers, manipulator arms, as well as interfaces (mechanical, electrical and software) for third-party payload providers.
Oil/Gas Inspection Robots
ATK is a leader in remote monitoring and inspection of unpiggable live pipelines. We have developed novel sensing systems and in-pipe communication methods to allow real-time remote monitoring and inspection of live pipe networks. We expect our designs and technologies to also proliferate in the exploration and production areas of gas/oil energy sector beyond the current distribution and transmission market areas.
